Resource Title California Preschool Learning Foundations: Volume 1
Summary In addition to academic content, the foundations describe social-emotional competencies children typically learn in high-quality preschool programs such as self-regulation, group participation, cooperation and responsibility, and relationships with peers and adults. They were written to guide teachers’ instructional practice and support administrators, parents, and policymakers in efforts to prepare young children for success in K-12 education.
