Resource Title Kognito At-Risk for High School Educators
Summary

A 1-hour, self-paced training program that helps educators recognize indicators for students who are exhibiting signs of psychological distress such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse and suicidal ideation. Participants learn how to approach an at-risk student and make a referral. The online training employs fully animated student avatars to help educators learn communication tactics. It works to reduce stigma by normalizing mental health disorders and increases protective factors by improving social connectedness. At the homepage go to “Products”, then K-12.
