Resource Title Project Towards No Drug Abuse
Summary A drug prevention program for students in continuation or alternative high schools. It has been used in comprehensive high schools. The curriculum consists of 12 40-minute lessons dealing with: developing self-control and communication skills, acquisition of resources to help resist drug use, decision-making strategies, and motivation not to use drugs. Developed at the Institute for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research, in the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, the program is also available in Spanish.
