Resource Title Developmental Assets - Search Institute
Summary The Developmental Assets framework describes 40 factors that are critical for children to grow and thrive. Research indicates that youth with more of these assets are less likely to engage in high-risk behaviors, including alcohol use, violence, drug use, and sexual activity. When they have higher levels of assets, they are more likely to do well in school, be civically engaged, and value diversity. This website offers a variety of products and services to assist schools and communities in this approach, including research, publications, consulting, technical assistance, and workshops.
